The Housemaid Book Review

The Housemaid by Freida McFadden is a must for anyone who likes psychological thrillers.  I read a lot in this genre, and I was hooked by the writing, genuinely surprised by the twist, and finished reading in 24 hours.

I think it would be best to go in blind to this book. A good friend messaged me to get on this book so I did, no questions asked … and I LOVED not knowing the plot.  If you’re someone who prefers at least an outline, keep reading (no spoilers).

The story centers on a woman who is hired to work in a wealthy family’s home providing cleaning, cooking, and childcare.  She lives in their home and starts to notice odd things about the wife, husband, and child.  From there, it’s a ride.  That’s it… that’s the most I’ll say. 🙂
