The Wedding Crasher Book Review
The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa is a lighthearted romantic comedy that has the charm of a fake dating trope without the frenemies bits. In it we meet Solange on the day she is stopping a stranger’s wedding. The first few chapters are catchy and funny, so I don’t want to ruin the “why” with a synopsis.
From there Solange and Dean, the groom from the wedding she stopped, cross paths in two separate fake dating ploys. Some of the characters are over the top, but the plot is not outlandish or asking you to suspend reality to enjoy it.
It was a nice break between heavy reads – I adored the narration and loved Solange. Dean was fine, not a dream book boyfriend or anything, but I could read a series about each of the cousins in Solange’s family.
I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a cheerful read with a handful of steamy scenes and a humorous main character. I’m going to check out Mia Sosa’s other books next – this was my first and I’m eager to see what else she has. If you have suggestions, let me know!
